I started Slow Burn about six weeks ago. So far it makes sense, but I have one question. After I max out doing the super slow reps I have noticed I can still bang out four or five reps on top of that at regular speed. So that's what I do. Anybody know why slow burn isn't completely fatigueing the muscles?
IMO, common mistake is thinking the point IS to go "slow". No. pick a heavier weight and be smooth. After a couple reps, if the weight can be lifted any faster at your full(fast) output, the weight needs to HEAVIER so it CANNOT be lifted faster, with all your resolve and concentration to do so--but keep bearing into it until it completes.....or not for as many as possible. Just my quick take on it.
